Environmental Economics

Economics is the study of choices and environmental economics is dedicated to helping society choose how to manage our common resources.  Environmental economics is the foundation of sustainability.  It is an interdisciplinary science that uses both quantitative and qualitative measurements to document sustainable decisions, policies, and actions.  Crane Associates uses environmental economics to determine the value of clean water and air, a healthy ecosystem, and an atmosphere that doesn’t melt our glaciers.    We use it to determine life cycle costs; climate change impacts, sustainable job creation, socio-economic impact analysis, and in environmental benefit/cost analysis.  We value Mother Nature.

Testimonial: “I would strongly recommend Michael Crane to anyone seeking an expert in the fields of sustainable economic development, population, demographic and economic forecasting, or analysis of urban economics. His work was punctual, highly professional, and convincing. Michael was a pleasure to work with and we look forward to engaging his services again.”
