On December 20th 2022 Crane Associates was hired by the United States Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) to calculate the economic benefits of investing in multiple development projects. The projects, including mangrove regeneration, coastal habitat protection, fisheries regeneration, and blue-carbon credit sales, are designed to protect and improve the coastal ecosystem in Mozambique. Crane will build a project specific Environmental Benefit/Cost Model to determine the return on investment.
